The usual protocol of ringing in the morning coupled with a seawatch usually results in one or the other coming up trumps as the weather conditions are rarely conducive for the both. Today certainly favoured the latter as Simon got a "KRYDS" in the form of a Manx Shearwater (Almindelig Skråpe) flying south. Further noteworthy additions to the seawatch included four Fulmars, 228 Gannets, and a 1st winter Caspian Gull loafing about on the beach picking up shells.

See the full list of standardised morning seawatch totals in the link below.

Simon with a "Kryds"!

Even if it does rain and hail we still get to experience some impressive rainbows!

The ringing summaries in contrast are brief to say the least...

Ring marking: 1 Blackbird, 1 Greenfinch.

People: Bent, Samuel, Simon, Amanda, Svend, Svend.
