Pleasure is sometimes found in simple things

Nothing special today. The wind was very light from the NW, so I saw a lot of Oystercatchers but only a few other species. In terms of numbers, it wasn’t a particularly exciting day for an observer, but I really enjoyed it. After all, what could be better than enjoying the warm sunshine and a stunning sea? The conditions were perfect for taking time to reflect on life and feel connected to nature. Plus, I spotted the second albino Oystercatcher of the season, which is quite rare and amusing. I was also thrilled when some Common Snipes flew right over my head, as if they were stopping by to say hello.
